A fine late 17th century Parisian brass lantern clock on two trains with its original alarm disc and hour strike on a bell.

François le Baigue was a well-regarded Parisian maker who looked after the ‘Horloge du Palais’ from 1715 – 1732. A watch by him is illustrated on page 353 of Tardy’s “Dictionnaire des Horlogers Français”.
