A George III period antique mahogany silvered dial wall timepiece. The 12 in signed silvered and engraved dial with blued steel hands, surrounded by the molded wood bezel. The eight day movement with tapered plates and anchor escapement.

John Leroux was based in Charing Cross, London. He was free of the Clockmaker’s Company 1781-1808. An eminent maker, some of his clocks are in important museum collections. His business was succeeded by James Rigby.
