A good 2-day mahogany cased marine chronometer by this well-known maker to the Admiralty, Dobbie McInnes Ltd., numbered 1/3026.
The mahogany 3-tier case has brass side carrying handles and gimballed bowl housing the 56-hour movement of excellent quality, with spotted plates, spring-detect escapement and substantial compensated balance wheel.
The 10cm circular silvered and engraved dial has gold hands and subsidiaries for the seconds and state of wind indication.
